Xbox Game Pass 'FastStart' helps you play new games faster

Microsoft has announced a variety of changes coming to Xbox Game Pass – it's Netflix-style subscription service for games. The service currently provides access to over 100 titles and future kickoff-party releases for a flat monthly fee – with more than on the way following its E3 2022 press conference.

The biggest new feature coming to Xbox Game Laissez passer is "FastStart" – a new organisation designed to deliver games to players faster than before. Using machine learning, the feature learns how gamers play titles to streamline the download process and reduce waiting times. Microsoft states the feature currently cuts download times in one-half, with its algorithm set to ameliorate over time. Microsoft is prepare to debut FastStart afterwards this calendar month to Xbox Insiders with the June update.

Xbox Game Pass is also getting several new titles today – Tom Clancy's The Sectionalization, Fallout four and The Elder Scrolls Online. Microsoft also expanding its launch day offerings, with Warhammer: Vermintide ii, Ashen and Phoenix Betoken all gear up to hit the service at launch.
